Smartphones, Android still dominates in the U.S.

The market for smartphones in the United States is further expanding and 40% of consumers now own such a device type. Android success continues to grind and is currently the most popular operating system, with a market share of 40% . The following Apple’s iPhone OS , with 28% of installed base.
